A settlement has been preliminarily approved in Oregon class action litigation where pick-up and delivery drivers alleged that FedEx Ground misclassified the drivers as independent contractors rather than as employees for purposes of Oregon’s wage laws. FedEx Ground denies the allegations.
On April 4, 2016, Stoll Berne received permission from the U.S. District Court (Oregon) to file a class action lawsuit on behalf of Aequitas investors against two accounting firms and two law firms for violations of the Oregon Securities Law.
