Stoll Berne Filed Class Action Against World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. for Concussion Injuries

On October 24, 2014, Stoll Berne lawyers Steve Larson and Joshua Ross filed a class action lawsuit against World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., (“WWE”) on behalf of retired professional wrestler Billy Jack Haynes, and relating to concussion related injuries sustained by WWE wrestlers.

Haynes seeks to represent a class of all current and former WWE wrestlers.  The complaint alleges that the WWE failed to warn wrestlers about the nature of severe and repeated head injuries sustained in WWE events, which ultimately lead to long-term disabilities.  Haynes’ lawsuit seeks certification of a class, money damages for injuries sustained, and asks that the WWE establish a medical monitoring program for wrestlers.

Stoll Berne, Cuneo Gilbert & LaDuca (Brooklyn, NY), Lockridge Grindal Nauen (Minneapolis, Minn.), Kyros Law Offices (Hingham, Mass.), and Mirabella Law (Boston, Mass.) represent Haynes and the proposed class.
